Simply, ANGLE GRINDER! You'd struggle to press it back off, i've tried with a newly fitted one(long story).
Use a grinder and cut the bearing apart leaving the inner on the shaft, then grind down the retaining ring and the bearing inner. Take enough material down so you can split it with a cold chisel, take care not to go too too far and grind into the shaft :blush:
It may take you a while and a go at both sides before it will release. I've been lucky in the past and the bearing has shifted after just grinding the ring off.

Hydraulic Press them on. Most garages should have one.

Take the shaft, new bearing and retaining ring along to your local garage that has a deep enough press and ask nicely. I know a couple of guys with places and i take any work i can't do myself to them so they do it for nowt but i've been to places i don't know and offered a drink and its been refused so i left it in his tool box. A couple of places i tried only had a small press so couldn't do it.

Just make sure you remember to put it on the right way (the jist of the long story reference above), the seal goes outside.
Another tip as well is clean up the shaft once you've cut the old bearing off with a strip of wet and dry just to make sure there's no nicks or edges, i just like to offer them as little work as possible as its free!
