Its that question again!! was created by Bigchridy
Right I'm keeping the Jimny.:)

So I've decided it needs a few extra bits! One of which is a snorkel. Now my question is (i'm sure you can guess!) where can I get a TJM snorkel from?

I have considered all the other options but I really like the look of the TJM one so I would rather hold out for one!

Anyway if anyone knows please share!

I've spent ages looking on the internet but cant seem to find anything.

Cheers

Chris

TJM and the UK Distributor have fallen out, TJM were terribly unreliable with deliveries.

I spoke to TJM direct and they are not willing to work with me direct as I do not have a workshop facility and a physical walk-in shop.

I can get them direct, but only at retail price plus import duty.

They recommended I talk to their French distributor but have not got around to it yet.

Its a shame they are so intransigent as they are loosing UK business.

have a look at www.snorkels.es/ as an alternative, they emailed me and the next batch of jimny ones should be ready about now. They're essentially safari copies.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

I did think it was a bit weird that they had no distributers in the UK on their web site!

Not sure how good a quality the snorkels mcjimmy has linked are but for the price they look pretty good depending how much the postage would be. I may have to enquire!:)

I'm in no real rush as I have just ordered a winch bumper and a winch will soon be on the way!:) So a TJM may still be an option.

They look pretty good. Do you know how good the quality of the snorkels are? Are they likely to have a bit of give in them if they get a bump?

Have you got one? Would like to see a pic of one fitted to a Jimny.

Last question!:cheer: Did they give you a price for postage to the UK?

Cheers

Be understood that this first order that we receive will be spent/sold in some days, there's now only few units available, confirm if you are interested in adn we'll reserve 1 unit and start your order. I emailed them last night and received a similar email to yours today.

I think I might give it a go and see what its like! They seem a very reasonably price its just the quality that gives me a slight worry! I guess I'll just have to try not to put the Jimny on its side!:cheer:

I'll have to wait till next week now tho before I order one.

l think TJM will lose a lot of sales in the uk, if the snorkels are as good as they looking at that price.
If l was going to buy one, l would take the risk at, 129,68€

Thats what I'm thinking! If TJM snorkels were readily availiable then I would have one without a doubt. I guess its their loss!

I'll sort out ordering one from www.snorkels.es next week and once it turns up I'll get some pics up with it fitted!:)
