Ive noticed quite a few of you have engine guard/bash plates extending from just below your front bumper. Does anyone know the best place to get one of these, are they steel or aluminium thanks.

Hi mate to be honest they arnt really needed on a Jimny everything is tucked away. But you can get them from KAP SUZUKI. or one lad has fitted a Land rover one which looks really good, if I see one cheap enough on EBay I'm going for that option. It's more for looks than protection though.

Thanks

James

I've heard they do have a use. If you go over very long grass, it can then get caught on the lower crank shaft pulley and cause the belt to come off. No experience of this only read of the problem.

iv been very close to leaning on my steering damper a few times, its only amount of time before i bend it maybe
so im gonna make one up for the sake of a bit of steel or alloy. if you make the right angle it will help alot with going in to nose diving postitions and deep ruts, depends how hard you off road really.
