Hi Guys,

Has anyone had any issues with 4L jumping out of gear? Mine does it regularly :(

2H or 4H no issues Off-road at all, but put it in 4L and all is good until it gets bumpy then it pops out.

Now my thoughts are maybe the transfer case bushes could be worn causing the gear lever to touch the body pushing it out of gear? I notice when in 4L the lever has a lot of the rubber gaiter under it and its very compressed i.e it doesnt have loads of room around it.

The only positive of this, is then I just nailed round in 4H and I saw I didnt really need 4L unless it got uber steep.

Its a Rocklobster box btw, so 4H is top right.

I've got some videos of it popping out but there taking a while to process in HD.

Are the transfer box mounts all ok? Mine snapped them (standard ones) and it would jump out of 4L.

You may have to heat the stick up and bend it slightly. Worth doing.

Ok pic 1 is in 2H and hopefully pic 2 is 4L.

All mounts appear sound. I think I might have to bend it a bit more as you say Jo.
