I had that problem, they probably too big, try to shrink them, I find that 400kbts works ok

Store your pics on imgur.com , it is free and they give you the option to copy urls to your pics in formats from large thumbnails to good size boxes to giant originals

I use this software. It's easy to use Just simply click the link below and when prompted save it to your desktop. (Don't use the "Run" option).

I have saved it to my desktop so there is an icon on my screen. The name of the icon is called "PhotoResize 400". I just grap a big photo with my mouse and drop it on the icon. The program will then run and resize the photo down to 400 pixels and save it in the same folder as the original except the new file is renamed as it was originally with 400 afterwards!
