These are required for some foreign markets.. Typically Jap.
You will occasionally see shoguns, surfs etc with them. These vehicles are imports.
Not a Uk requirement, hence not fitted as standard

i work at a car dealers and pulled one off a shogun that came in as a scraper, thinking off putting it on mi jimny

Yeah i must admit they look quite smart as an accessory but have they got a purpose is it to see a blind spot or are they something else for the kids to pull off

They are for blind spots. I imagine if you wanted one that much one of these companies that imports Jap cars and parts would be able to source proper Jimny ones for you.
JAPARTS might be able to gte them. I don't know if they are only local to me but suspect they are a franchise.
The only thing is tye are another thing to get caught on trees etc when reenlaning or off roading.

i just got a snorkel for mine so i'm goin to put the mirror on same time as i do that well i'v got the drill out :laugh:
