Hi All,

Posted here and there while sorting out my new toy B) A smooth deal from Nick who has tastefully modded this Jimny with everything I could have wanted to start with.

Im in the South Yorkshire area so if anyone on here is regulary green lanning in and aroung the peak district i'm defo interested in tagging along if thats ok :)

Only mods planned for the 'truck' is some new front reclining bucket seats and maybe a winch after xmas :woohoo: Oh a service and some winter prep/rust prevention is hopefully happening this weekend.

Thanks.

Thanks Halford!! lol

Yes it gets some looks on the street. The kids are always pointing and smiling at it!

I took it in my local woods which has loads of well used tracks, but Ive since found out that its private land (contrary to my mate who lived in the village all his life telling me its legal) and so its a no go now. I was extremely impressed with its off-road capability both 2WD and 4WD. The Rock lobster box is an essential piece of kit when the going gets steep though!

Thanks for your kind words, im really enjoying it.

I paid for it by Bank Transfer?? Only kidding I know what you meant. I paid his asking price of £3k.

I believe he sold it as he wants to convert his van into a camper.

How does it handle on road.
The kids are pointing and smiling as they plot to steal it :silly:
Its a good truck as I have seen it in the flesh and nick has done a tremendous job on those arches.
Get a good alarm..

Handles like a jelly on stilts! But now I've driven it more it's pretty good. Just a shock coming from a 218bhp mini cooper GP with less ground clearance than a Snail!

Yes security is a big concern, it's has one of those full steel steering wheel locks and a camera on the front of the house as a deterrent.

Will look at getting an alarm fitted :)
