Thanks, Seems a good strong solution.
I was also thinking of Unistrut to hold my extra spare wheel with on the side by the windows. Problem is the curvature of the side panels and the glass curve.

The name of the rack is a Galeria ,the make is team terzo of Japan.
In the UK l think they go under the name Thule.

Uni strut is gret stuff but you also need some shallow (stainless steel food quality) mesh trolleys from somewhere near your local supermarket which will give a very pro look to any efforts. I have seen a couple on various jeeps - no pics unfortunately but they seem to do the job very efficiently
