The jimnys are actually pretty good offroad as standard unless you go when it's 3'deep mud, when I first got mine I went off roading on an old waste patch of land near widnes power station I didn't get it stuck once and it handled very well if you YouTube widnes off road there's some videos there of the guy I went with he had a Mitsubishi pajero swb and he said then my Jim was better cos it was so light he had slightly more aggressive all terrain tyres too!
