So my Jimny is in the garage AGAIN to try and fix the intermittent starting problem that it's had from new.
Now, the garage is being pretty useless and saying they can't go changing parts because Suzuki won't pay them for it. I've been gently reminding them that it's not my problem but blatently they're not going to do anything. So if nothing's done by Wednesday I'm going to have to formally reject the car and see where it gets me.
I'm hoping it'll just make them pull their finger out and start trying to fix the problem because I really don't want to give the car back. But yeah, bit sad right now really
If it aint fixed then its your right as a buyer to reject the car
And they should replace it with a brand new one free of charge, and your
Car will go back to suzuki hq for there techs to fix.
I know that.. The issue is...... There basically are no more Jimnys! At least, there are none on the horizon they've gone to factory orders only and 2 dealers I know have been waiting nearly 5 months for delivery!
There might be a new jimny instock at another dealer which
Your dealer could buy,or you contact suzuki uk and explain
Your issue. all you can do is ask
I e-mailed Suzuki UK this weekend and told them what's been happening.
I'm wondering whether it might be more prudent for me to try for a reduction in price of the car instead of a refund or replacement and then just live with the problem and if it ends up being a massive pain getting a 1.6 Vitara lump fitted.
