Never driven, but been a passenger ( Transmission also locked into 4WD too ). Very nice for what it is, but would much prefer a newer Escort Cosworth (which was on my shopping list before I decided to buy my TVR )

I used to want the escort cosworth till i went for a drive in one, it was a massive let down.

Really ??? I loved the one I took for a spin ...
Other Cars I test drive before deciding on the TVR were Lotus Charlton & Ferrari 348.
Cossie Insurance was silly money, and I wanted a Big Turbo Lux model, but coundnt get a good one, the Lotus was wickedly fast but still a 4 door saloon, and the Ferrari was a let down both on build quality and comfort

I had a Lotus Cortina Mk1. White with green stripe. Loved it for the 6/7 months I had it.
Noisey and very tinny but great for its time. Pity the oak tree didn't see it like that!
