Theres loads of nice looking tubular bumpers available for landrovers, but it appears no one makes one for the jimny. Has anyone experimented making one or is there a reason why none of the big companies make them??

I am looking to have one made for our Jimny.
I have been searching for a while but have been unable to find one already made.
my plan is to have one fabricated that will sit outside the standard bumper to offer protection, but still allow us to keep the existing bumper.
I dont see why the bar I have been designing could not replace the standard bumper either.

That, with a little more finishing could look really smart. I do like the idea alot.
A couple of recovery points either side of where a winch could be fitted. The top hoop with spot lamp mounts and possibly a twig mount and branch wires mounts.
It wouldn't need to be as heavy as a full steel bumper either.
Mmmmm.....Food for thought.
