I used to get 28 until I fixed a leaky return pipe: now I get 30 easily B)

Well if you can call not pressing either pedal more than 5mm, over-inflating the tyres, not allowing it to idle, using 5th gear above 25mph, keeping the windows wound up, adding molyslip to the diff, transferbox and gearbox easy anyway ;)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Took the Jim on a trip down to Reading last week. Still running in really, (2000 miles on the clock so far), and so taking it steady. A steady indicated 60mph there and back. I brimmed on the way out in the morning and again at the end of the day at the same place on the way home. Was very surprised to work out I got a shade over 42mpg. Standard truck other than spacers and 195 tyres.

Rich.

I guess the 42 mpg was on the way to Reading, it was magnetically drawn to the home of BigJimny. It was probably worse on the way back as it had to overcome the gravitational pull :)
