Only thing that seems to be a bad point is rust around the rear end, lift the carpet behind the rear seats, remove the jack and check for rust. No real problems as far as mechanical stuff is concerned as far as I know.

Do what I did, bought without seeing.
Didnt know milage or even the colour lmfao
years mot did for me :)

As said tho, rust in boot, 4x4 engaging inc low, mine has bad rust under the bonnet just behind where the grill sits also.
Also check for steering wobble...seems to be a common problem.
And as with all cars check the oil/water.....I went to buy from a dealer and the head gasket had gone! ( mk3 astra )
