I bought an outbacker firebox at the start of lockdown and it has had some proper hammer. I bought a special edition one which can only be described as 'chiffon ivory'! It looks like they have updated the design slightly since I bought mine.

I bought a second one and gave the firebox to my friend. It's called a gstove. It's brilliant, full stainless. Gets going a lot faster and burns great for long periods. The stainless chimney pipes are loads thicker and have not split like the firebox. Granted it was twice the price but I can't knock the outbacker for the odd camping trip.

I'm really happy with the Firebox. I have just bought the double walled flue section for where it goes through the stovejack in the tent.

First time i have heard of the flue pipes splitting, what were you burning?

Is this the Norwegian ones? is it the same? Links are dead.
They went bankrupt november 2022 so if you find these in shops in the UK it is most likely the last chance to get them.
Haven't found anyone picking up the pieces and continuing the production yet, But often happen in these cases.
Depends on who buys the patent.
Edit: Well now i found this:  www.gstgear.com/blog/post/gstove-history-and-compensation
