Does anyone else get spam text messages advertising PPI or loans ?..

Can I urge everyone to take this survey, being run by one of the telecoms regulators to legeslage and put a stop to these anoying messages

Thing is, if you delete them, your number is still on the marketing list that is being sold to these marketing companies. by filling out the survey allows the regulator to gauge the amount of these being recieved, and gives them the ammo to go to the governement and demand legeslation to make it illegal.

I register each year, when I remember on that site and its sister site and the junk mail, calls and texts stop.
If you do get a call, you just tell them you're on the register and how did they get your number? They usually (everytime) hang up straight away and do not ring you again.
That's because they are liable for a £1k fine if they don't.
