Well I just aquired ( ahem ) a new program for my HTC hero ( rooted running elelinux 2.2 final ).
It's called NDrive and is an amazingly good little sat nav program - and through some very minor work it also runs tomtom speed camera alerts without the need to crack the metas
I plan to use it over my tomtom as imho its better..... and my phone is always with me so I dont have to carry a tomtom as well
I believe the program + UK maps is only £18 as well..... hardly going to break the bank however as I'm sure you are all aware it can also be downloaded.
Hope someone else gets the good of this amazing little program,
