Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

The answer to the question can vary depending on who you ask - perhaps to avoid confusion be specific - 16v, SOHC, G13bb - if that is what you want.

Also be aware that they were available in both transverse & longitudinal mount configurations, this can be important because things like intake, exhausts oil pans, etc. are different, and there were also three different ignition systems, one of which used a distributor.

If you're simply looking for a newer engine to replace a worn or damaged one, you can usually swap parts off of the old one, but ...
