Sell your bits!
NOTE: This is for members and their private sales/wants.
There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.
Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.
Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Help !!!, urgently wanted, as above in 205/75/15, just the at, not 2 or 3.
After a spectacular blowout last night, due to a 6 inch nail going into the tread and out the sidewall, resulting in a 180 spin and a trip across the central reservation into oncoming traffic, luckily only casualty was the tyre and my nerves :S :S . Tyres are less than half worn, checked ebay, etc but nothing suitable. Can anyone help please:lol:
Would have a new one but cannot find any, neither can a mate who owns a tyre fitting company

Heheheh "Butt-clenching" - it made me laugh anyway
I had one of those moments in my Jimny just a couple of weeks after acquiring it. Not quite so dramatic - but getting it sideways and seeing oncoming traffic through the driver's side-window wasn't much fun.
It happened on a compacted snow-drift on a straght road (was probably ice underneath) without warning the Jimny tried to swap ends. I was hurrying to work so probably too fast as well.
Somehow - probably more by luck than skill I caught it and got it straight. My "butt response" was more like 'Half-crown; Sixpence; Dustbin Lid....'
In the following days I quickly cx'd the tyres which were old and nowhere near as good as I thought.
Yes! thank goodness you (and the car) were unscathed
IF IT AINT BROKE, KEEP FIXING IT UNTIL IT IS

They are discontinued, I had trouble last time... Luckily I have 5 Inc my spare. Just keep calling tyre companies asking them to check for old stock or eBay international mate.
Good luck.
