I matt--blacked an Alloy Bullbar once on my Jimny, looked crap. Resprayed it 2 pak gloss and it looked shiny crap. Ended up sand-blasting it all off and polishing up again. Looked great. People LIKE shiny things, we are a bit like Magpies in that.

PS, it really doesn't take long to paint a bullbar or nudge bar so I would look for whatever style you want, paint it and then see what you think. Good luck. :whistle:
