If only it allowed sign-in without Facebook
I have a dormant FB account, that I have no desire to use - does Drivetribe NEED FB, or can I use it as a login and never have to go to FB after that?

Web page seems clunky with some buttons not working in my browsers, mobile app is better
As yes, if they start spamming me.........

Warning - personal opinions follow
Well, so far it appears to be just another social media platform with groups you can create or join (think forums, or Instagram or Facebook groups) with a web browser interface and phone apps, but this time specifically about cars. Early days, but already a mix of content to read (mainly by the 3 Grand Tour presenters who set it up), and comments from "followers" but already getting spam of the "look at my adult profile" type
The interface looks good (some nice car pictures ) but is a bit non-intuitive at times, but I can't yet see any big differences in all the other forms of blogs around. I read a few blogs via feedly.com (just puts them all in one easy-to-read place), but then I can catch up (and scan the titles) easily, and at my own convenience.
I'll give it some time and see how it pans out, but nothing really new yet. Other blogs/sites like Jalopnik are creating their own tribes (groups) on there, so I suspect DriveTribe will end up as another way to read sites like that.
Oddly, I pretty quickly got invited to a group after I joined, but it was for Mk2 Mazda RX7s!!
