Many thanks to those of you who have donated to the site so far.
The money donated has enabled me to pay for the "backup and restore" option on the virtual server that this website runs on. This means there are automatic image backups taken every day. This is a fast and efficient way of taking backups.
On the old site I had to take backups using an FTP transfer programme which meant there was an impact on performance during the 90 minutes it took to bring down the backup and also it was only backed up when I remembered!
