Diesel Jimny Bonnet was created by mlines
I have recently been asked to get a quote for a member who is re-building their crashed Diesel Jimny.

I thought others who are looking to customise their Jimny might be interested (or anyone putting in a Supercharger etc.)

A Diesel Jimny bonnet, new and unpainted is £330 and the intake is £80 plus £20 p+p (UK)

The bonnet has the cut-out for the intake to fit into, the intake will require screw fitting which I can also get a price for (the current person already has those from the crashed car).

Bit much just to replace the bonnet to have scoop. Looks very cool though and I suppose perfect if you were going to mount the supercharger and intercooler the same as in the mini.

Different if you have crashed your diesel Jimny of course :(

Trouble with bonnet scoops unless they are actually for a purpose is they are just another hole for mud to get in the engine bay.:P

Just goes to show what a good relationship Martin has with Suzuki though being able to get a bonnet for a foreign model, my local dealer struggle to get UK bits. Last time I needed a dealer only part they asked if mine was a petrol or diesel model, when I said I didnt think the diesels were released over here he said 'oh yea' :silly: I did ask if he thought they would ever release the diesels over here and got grunted at (took it as a no) ;)
