Just an update...
The indicator relay is under the dashboard, clipped to the side of the fusebox upside down. When we were out at Broxhead Common breaking the CV joint it was pouring down and clearly the rain is getting in somewhere as this is what I found when I prised open the indicator relay.
Being upside down the water runs straight inside the plastic cover!
So thats £45 the car has just cost me again.
