I have just made up some prototype parts that will enable you to fit SJ manual hubs to your Jimny, overcoming the issues with the Vacuum hubs. This kit will shortly be available to purchase in the shop. In the meantim, here is the guide so that you can start planning the fitting.
So I went out today to collect some plywood for the boat (the roll cage makes an excellent roofrack!) and noticed when turning that all four indicators flashed. It doesn't matter which way you turn they all flash together. Fortunately the workshop manual is quite good and goes through a diagnostic to determine whats wrong and it diagnosed that the flasher relay has failed. Its marked up as a DENSO 065500-5350 flasher unit, Suzuki part 38610-84F00. A search of the Internet brought up nothing I can buy (unless I want it in lots of 100!) so its off to the Suzuki dealers (and I bet its not a cheap item!)
