Could be right re driving an mot fail. My mot expires on Friday.
If your garage fails your car I guess it stayed at the garage
Then they can charge what they like Well that can't be true?
Regards,
Ian.

when mine failed they gave me 14 days for retest
previous mot was still in date and ran it for 7 days fixed it and had retest
just ring mot station and they will advise on what can and can not be done ;)
also if they are nice you could ask them to try emissions test before they book it onto system
because if they book it online and it fails again that's your free retest gone
so you will have to pay full price when you return

Jack

Two of our Jimnys have failed on emissions in the past, I replaced a CO2 sensor both times and that did the trick. Advantage of having more than one Jimny I swapped them over one at a time, had it retested then bought an aftermarket sensor for about £40

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

When I tried that, because I read something on here about getting the rev counter to go past 4000, the crank pulley, which had been hanging on very nicely thankyou. came apart :(

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
