Thats an interesting one about the chassis.. Cars like tvr and lotus used to get a Q plate if they changed the chassis, but that was argued against and now its classed as a component part so ok to change without going through inspection etc..
Maybe because the chassis on those cars are removable from the body?

You can replace the chassis like for like without any problems so long as you document and notify. If you make significant alterations however like bobtails or snub noses or streches then you will need to be inspected as well as the paperwork. As I understand the sva rules, which may have changed again.

Looks like a right handful! Short wheelbase + wide track + lots of power. I'd say his driving is pretty good considering.

It's not so daft when you realise how useful it is. I have one on both my JDM Pajeros and it is a boon. Don't use it everyday but when I do it is a blessing.
