Changing the Rear Engine Mount

The Rear Engine Mount (or often mistakenly called the Gearbox mount) is a common failure point on a Suzuki Jimny.

The symptoms of a broken mount can be:

  • Engine shake/Gearbox shake
  • Gearstick "dropping" on acceleration
  • Poor gear selection (well, worse than normal!)
