Introduction
This is a quick hands-on reference and guide on two things:
- Which types of light bulbs are used in various positions in Jimny;
- How to replace them;
Bulb Types

Fitting
Side/Parking Lamp
- Open the bonnet
- The side lamp bulb holder is located at the outer edge of the headlight assembly
- Twist the bulb holder one quarter turn anti-clockwise to remove. If this is difficult, you may find it easier to leave the cable connected as this will give you more purchase on the bulb holder.
- Remove the bulb holder from the assembly and change the bulb.
Headlights
- Open the bonnet
- Remove the socket and the rubber cover
- Unhook the bulb holding spring and replace the bulb
Front Clearance / Turn Signal / Side Turn Signal / Rear combi / Number Plate Light
- To remove, simply pull out or push in the bulb.
- To remove a round bulb, push it in and turn it anticlockwise.
- To remove a bulb holder from a light housing turn the bulb anticlockwise and pull it out.
