Now it has been further expanded in that direction and a new title is warranted.

Bosanek: Revamped the article to properly encompass all functional problems with the 4WD system - not just the vacuum subsystem. Most of it was already inside the article, but sporadically inserted here and there, without proper cohesion. Some content was moved to the article on 4WD transmission operating principles.
