They are 0. Not sure what the original is, but the ones thst came with the car when I bought it was also 0 :)

SJ rims :)

This looks like Daihatsu Rocky rims, or aftermarket something. Not SJ original at least.
BCD is the same so as long as the ET suits your needs they will be ok anyways :)

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.

Easily could be! All I know is that they were on a SJ when I got them :P

Pretty happy with the new tires, and how the wheels look on the car :)

Looks good, what dimensions did you go for?

215/65R16! Biggest I could fit under the arches I think. Hope it won't rub that much under flex :)
Will be getting some 15" rims for muddies at some point. Want a lift first though.

We recently went on a cruise round Norway, visited; Olden, Stavanger, Flam and Bergen. Beautiful place and I should imagine full of offroad spots! Do you get much hassle with it being illegal or can you get away with it?

I live just a couple of hours from Olden, we got the scenery yes! Its always better to ask first, most of land owners are ok with it as long you dont leave too much tracks. I have some friends who were fined 25000kr - ca 2500£ when they got stuck, and of course caught

Our problem is that even if the land owner says ok, it is generally illegal to go off road. You have to be organized as a club, and you have to apply to the local authorities. It must be hosted as a motorsports event/training, with an inspection crew. They have to make sure all cars are in good technical order. And you also need a coordinator. All of these people must have been through a series of courses to be allowed this function.

My local club has enough people with these courses in order, but our local authorities are really strict. We are going off roading this Saturday. Last time we were allowed was April. But the farmer that owns the woods, he loves that we are there. He is even planning on turning the area into a motorsport park. If he gets that through, we will be able to go more often. But the socialists are probably going to deny him that too :P

Fines for braking the rules start at about 1000£ , but are usually up in the 2-3k range. You could even loose your license.

Luckily you are allowed to go just off the road if you want to camp, as long as you are not a hindrance or make a negative impact on nature.

Got to do a bit of off roading today. I quickly realized that I have to save up for a 2" lift kit, to replace the 17 year old sagged springs and shocks I have now :P

No updates here for ages. The Jimny has been parked in the drive way for a while. But finally passed MOT today and it is back on the road!
I am tired of people telling me that I drive an old ladies car, so I have ordered a 2" lift and a snorkel. Hoping it will help its image :P

Actually, some guy was looking at the car outside a store today and said it was a really cool car. I think he was having a bit of fun with me..

Haha, I usually just tell people I dont want to be a boring guy with a black/white estate or suv. When they realize im saying they are boring they tend to stop critisizing.
We cant help that we know what the best car is
