Hope it’s is the right place....technical or chat, i don’t know!
I want to improve off road grip but don’t want to sacrifice what on road comfort there is! What tyres do you cognoscenti advise please?

I would recommend YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR..good all rounder, not too noisy on road, very good off, unless you want serious mudders...i find these work well on most soft ground, sand, general off road trail use.etc..brill in snow..!!
Not too pricey either.

I really liked my Goodyear Wrangler AT/SAs. Much better off road than the stock Bridgestone Duellers but also better on road. Well priced too.

2004 Jimny Mode: General Grabber AT3s (215/75/R15); Trailmaster 2" Lift; Jimnybits Snorkel; Jimnybits Front and Rear Recovery Points; Suntop Roof Rack; AVM Manual Hubs; Stainless Steel Exhaust System (SOLD)

I go by price - cheap! 150 to 199 quid for four but they have to be wide and tall is all I ask..

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

+1 for the Geolanders (GO12) Had them on Kates daily driver for 2 years and still look like new. Off road she can probly get
80% of the places I can with full muds. :)

You should try the GO15 Geolanders so much better than the GO12 I just replaced.
