My Junior stands a lot - a very lot and I am always concerned about the water in the box but to get it off would be a real game. Could a hole be drilled and a self tapper put in to use as a drain hole. You can poor a little water out of the back box from where it draws it in as condensation as the back box cools.
I had a K11 Nissan Micra a few years back and the back box on that actually had a drain hole in It! This gave it longevity and as it was designed into it would not cause an MOT failure.

Good point. I need a SS exhaust.
Regarding my Celerio, I was told somewhere by someone that today's exhausts are made to last longer. I wonder.
