Is there a way of telling if and what the actual engine numbers mean? Mine is a vvt but it is called an m13a in the owner manual not an m13aa, then on actual Wikipedia it states that the m13a was available in two forms non vvt for Jimny and vvt for swift with the former being 83hp the latter 91hp. But the actual engine number on mine is mrk5exxx no mention of m13? I accept that it is unlikely that suzuki dropped in a swift motor and even if they had it's still breathing through a Jimny intake and exhaust, it's more that the information available doesn't seem to collate and that upsets my ocd. Has anyone got any other sources of information?

Cheers.
