Hi,
I have problem with the ABS light on, I understand that most code readers will not read ABS faults so can anyone recommend a tool that will read the code to give me a clue where to look first?!!

My new Foxwell code scanner arrives tommmrow so I can let you know how it goes, it's supposed to be able to read the abs codes as my cheap basic code reader does not pick up any fault codes to do with the abs.

Hi,

So far so good the Foxwell NT630 had done everything I wanted it to do, it has read all of the ABS codes enabling me to fix the issue and the clear the codes and reset the light. I've also tried it in my wife's VW golf and a mates Jeep Commander and again it's read the abs's codes, engine codes and then reset the warning lights etc.

It's been easy to use and appears to have lots more functions for checking the abs, airbags, read the live outputs from the engine etc. Still playing with it and learning

I've come to the conclusion that any DIY mechanic/car tinkerer who has a car with OBDII needs a good code reader in their toolbox. The cost of buying one will soon be paid back.

The Foxwell not only gives you the code but it also gives a description of the fault code and it allows you to save the current and past codes so you can do some more research and googling of the issue.

Sam
