I don't trust them either, but they have told me what they are going to do and I will tell them I'm going to check.

Update.

I couldn't watch the dealer do the repair work, but the failed bottom kingpin bearing, kingpin, oil seal and dust seal have been replaced. The sellers wouldn't change the top bearing or kingpin as they hadn't failed. I have looked under the car and also jacked it up and tested for any wobble. All feels alright now. The bottom kingpin is new and the top kingpin has been turned 180 degrees.

I was shown the packets and wrappers for the replacement parts by the service manager. Had I known that the sellers were not going to pay for the top bearing, I would have asked for the repairing dealer to change it anyway. I wasn't told till it was back together.

Oh, and the whole repair took the tech 45minutes from driving it in the workshop, to them handing me back the keys.

Glad it's sorted, but yeah some people!! a quick word to say do you want us to replace the top one wouldn't have killed anyone!!! Jeeeeeeeeze!
