The daylight running / fog lights turned up from Germany today too, they are a direct replacement for the fog lights in the bumper and are two-thirds DRL at the top and a third foglight at the bottom... Wiring instructions so that they go off when the headlights are on... that might take some doing with Suzukis headlight wiring?!

Thought I might as well do them when the bumper is off for the body lift (2" + 2" trailmaster suspension lift)

Body lift blocks have finally arrived -

'My' full width (3" rather than everyones elses 2" - these are the same as the original bodymount but 2" higher) blocks, I've had to wait as my poly manufacturers don't do black runs often, so he's had a mate of his do them out of the same material they make Landy bump stops from :)

That should then give me room for these babies -

BFG ATs in 235/75/15 flavour...

Then change the transfer box and diffs to 'old'(er) Jimny ones which should correct the gearing...

Hoping for good weather on Sunday!

Meanwhile, lots of other little packages have been arriving, and the wife's getting peev'ed... LOL ;)

More soon!

Hahaha, made from the same material as Land Rover bump stops. They will go rusty.

rust jokes aside (but enjoyed!) they actually look pretty meaty things. are these going to be a product for zookbob to pedal on fleabay?!

P.s. - my tyres are catching on the arches in 235 size with my 2+2" lift combo (but they are knobbly noisy muds, not nice pristine quiet BFG's). Is there any way to move the front axle forwards 10mm? that would solve a lot of problems!

Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...

Yes, rust joke enjoyed too ;)

Ah, no, sorry... I won't be "pedalling them on eBay as ZookBOB" ... eBay is already cut-throat when it comes to bodylifts, so much so it's not worth trying to sell mine, I stopped making them a while ago, but still have the moulds so wanted mine for my own vehicle...

Hmmm, when I fitted 235/75's on the red Jimny fastback (Maxxis Muds) they fitted alright with a 1.5" lift and a 1" bodylift...? So I'm pretty sure the BFG ATs will fit fine with no arch cutting...

Castor corrected arms should reposition the axle forward slightly? (My ORA ones do... check with JimnyBits, etc?)

Or... thinking outside (Keithy's t-) box... what about castor correction bushes set to move the axle slightly forward? Discuss ;) But, you'd lose a bit of flex... Otherwise, a BFH! (Big F'ing Hammer) will surfice!

Had a bit of spare time this afternoon, so started on the body lift...

Bumpers off, headlights out, all 8 fixing points wire brushed and WD40'ed, will give pop out from the shop and give them another spray tomorrow, in readiness for completing the bodylift on Sunday :)

I ordered the tyres today too! They'll be at my mate's garage on Monday, so they'll be fitted early next week hopefully - when everything's back together...
