Received a pair of wind deflectors today, but will defer fitting them until it stops piddling down! Also received a pair of brake discs and some pads.

Surprising as it may be to some people, having fitted new dampers to the front of Ermintrude I have found by dint of having a point of reference that the rear dampers are showing distinct signs of being tired too, not in a dangerous way but more in a crashing kind of way. Out with the credit card, new rears on the way.

my new wheels arrived

I got both driver's side ones on, then moved on to the passenger left and discovered a huge buckle in the rim whilst cleaning it

Messaged the sellers, whom were very apologetic, and offered me a £120 refund (the cost of a brand-new one) which I gladly accepted. I'll see If I can get the wheel repaired, and hopefully I'll be quids in ;)

As for the passenger front, I wasn't too sure it was holding air so I skipped that one and decided to fill it with air and leave it a day or two to see if it would stay inflated. However I think the valve might be bust. :(

At least the one side looks nice though.

I like the look the rims set it off nice. One question, is the front wing meant to be a different colour, or is it just a trick of the light?

Today, I've been arsing about trying to remove my headlights - nice easy job ain't it? :S Before that I tried out my new jet washer and so much mud came out from underneath that I think the Jimny weighs half a ton less now B)
