Fitted some new brake pads in an attempt to mitigate the prodigious amount of dust the mintex were producing. Can't speak to longevity but certainly even while bedding in there is as much bite as i was getting previously which is only going to improve once they have a few miles on them. Looking forward to being able to really stand on them as the first impression is excellent.

I made a swaybar disconnect thingy and welded it. Touch of paint and as good as new, even better.

A little remedial work in the boot of the Jimny I bought 3 weeks ago. It's pretty solid for it's age, but stripped the boot to check and fix this patch before it spread too far.
The headlight were hazing too,so got them polished up at the same time.
This weekend I will be changing the paint finish by adding a little mud...

Though it was going to be a quiet day, so started painting the wheels. Smooth black Hammerite.

The third picture didn't come out well in bright sun - it does look pretty good for a brush finish.

Just the spare done for now, as my friends decided to take me off roading....

Today I bought a Pressure washer, Jimny is getting cleaned underneath then stone chipped. I also put Genuine Suzuki rear boot carpet in the back now that I have removed my dog guard and load liner. Its nice to have the seats back in but I doubt I will use them.
