Using a Standard LDV Clutch it bolts straight on.

the LDV Engine Mounting/Gearbox Bracket Requires Modifying to fit around the Turbo Return Pipe and Feed Pipe.

Standard Lucas Stop start solenoid is coded so this was replaced with a standard on/off unit.

PHOTO 3 SHOWS THE LDV ENGINE MOUNTS WHICH DOUBLE UP AS ENGINE ADAPTER FOR PEUGEOT TO LDV GEARBOX.
PHOTO 4 IS THE MODIFIED ENGINE MOUNT TO CLEAR OIL HOSES

Fuel tank had been dropped and fuel pump removed and modified
thrustbearing turned up today, gear box has been trial fitted onto the engine

Overall length from engine mount to end of gearbox is actually 130mm shorter on the pug block in compared jimny

Done a little yesterday , some pics to follow

Fuel filler adapted to take diesel hose

Engine mounts on diesel engine bolted up to check fit

Gearbox has threaded push fit elbow tapped in breather ,
Front and back axle breather push for elbows fitted ready for breather hoses
Going to drop transfer box and tap the transfer box breather next week,

Things to do in week, wait for plasma cutter to turn up , cut the original mounts on chassis off, drop the engine and box in and see how she fits in ,

did this ever get finished ? .. i have just taken a 1.9 td engine out of a jlx viata inc gear box . removed its transfer box from the back and mounted it into mine gear stick lines up engine sits nice has nice notch in sump for axle as standard . easy and fast . and no issues of clutch or gear box pooping its pant's . have it running to t-case transfer box using sj small prop
