There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Immaculate little Suzuki Jimny jlx+, VVT, 2008 with 69646 miles and decent service history, just serviced, half leather interior, air conditioning, heated wing mirrors, alloy wheels, all tyres as new. Couple of age related marks but nothing serious, 2 keys and all books.

I bought this Jimny over a year ago, I spent over £800 on it before MOT this year and over 60hrs labour, not because it needed the work but because I was planning on keeping it long term and wanted it as good as possible, you'd be hard pressed to find a better Jimny of the same age. The boot floor and under the rear seats is as good as the day it left the factory.

Recent work includes, sandblasting under side, chassis, axles ect, everything painted with coroless rust control primer, top coated with coroless black and then a final coat of black wax, there is no rust or rot.

The front axle was stripped, cv's removed, cleaned and repacked, kingpin bearings replaced along with driveshaft oil seals and swivel seals, brake calipers were stripped, blasted and painted to match the body work, new discs and pads, new drop links, ARB was removed blasted and painted, pan hard rods removed blasted and painted, new tyres, new crankshaft pulley and belts, upgraded led lights, reverse parking sensors, towbar fitted and correctly wired including 12s socket, (never towed anything, I was going to tow our new caravan but it just wouldn't be right).

I'll be sorry to see this wee car go but I just need a bigger jeep to tow the caravan.

What car values it at £3800, there are others the same age and older at £4000-£5000+ on eBay and other sites. You really won't get a better one than this!

I have lots of other photos of the work I done ect if you would like to see more just ask.

I also have a genuine Suzuki load liner and dog guard both in very good condition, I'll let them go with the car for asking price.

Still for sale, mileage has went up slightly but still less than 70,000.

£3200 Ono, can't believe it's still here, I'm seriously considering breaking it for parts at this stage as I know it will return £4k+ but it would be an absolute crying shame.

As you may have seen I'm considering selling mine. I looked in to a p/x on something newer and they will only offer £2300 against a new/nearly new car. Basically that is what some dealers are paying on the scrappage schemes. It's not ready for that.
It's ridiculous as checking ebay etc they are advertised from just under £4k to the high £6k range so somebody is making money out of them.
I think the main problem with the "enthusiasts" is that they don't like the push button 4x4 and the reputation of the 2007/08 gearboxes. Actually the push button is much better on a road car in the changeable conditions we get in the UK and I still maintain that the gearbox problem originated with the Suzuki faulty prop shaft debacle which let the oil get low. I have now done more miles than before the rebuild and have had no problem.
With the average motorist the Jimny road tax is high so when looking for a small car the Jimny gets sidelined. If I can't get a decent price for mine I might just have to resort to bangers again as I don't have a lot of cash due to retirement.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)
