Thought id do a small update as its been a while since ive posted anything on my thread.nothing major really and only a few pics.

Got the mot done middle of jan no probs passed with no advisarys
tax the end of jan just what you want after christmas.

Made a couple of suspension changes to the jimny still just a 2" lift but its riding better than it was on the other lift i had fitted.

Sunday gone i had a small run out with the lad i work for and his mate, was a canny run out and the weather was good, was only out a few hrs but boxing day was the last time i was out so was good to get out,had a bit of a bearing noise at the start of the day prior to me using the jimny it had been sat for 2 weeks,by the end of the day the bearing was shot and very noisey so had a slow cruise home.

Stripped the half shaft out the day after, jimny still lifting with mud, also gave me a chance to clean all the shoes up.

While i was waiting for my bearing to land my battery was getting quite lazy to start after standing a bit and with having the winch i needed something with a bit more power, recently ive scrapped a car and it had fitted a nie on new numax battery so the plan was to fit this to the jimny.

when i stripped the liana last year for the engine i kept the battery tray as i knew id be doing someting like this.after a bit trial fitting and a couple of small tweaks ive fitted the liana battery tray to the opposite side, its an exellent fit,and i can still use the original mount for the coolant bottle although the liana tray has a mount on it.ive mounted the washer bottle at the front just because my alarm siren is just behind the tray and it was easyer to lengthen the wires and pipes for the washer bottle rather than disturb the alarm.i was going to go for a dual battery system with split charging but tbh im skint and this has cost me nothing to do as i had everything lying about and the battery ive fitted is more than enough for what i need.i got this done then i got my new bearing fitted and all assembled,im toying with doing the passenger side as im sure i can hear a faint noise but i could just be a bit paranoid need to use it for a couple of days.thanks for looking
