Hello, anybody knows about some way how to bypass or turn off TPMS on 2016 Jimny? I have set of steel rims for winter without the sensors so the light is on. The sensors are crazy expensive here (Iceland) so I don’t really want to buy another set.

Not easily no. I have seen mentioned pulling a fuse but I don't know which or if it has other systems on the same fuse. I have a second very cheap set of sensors from Amazon that kinda work but in hindsight I would probably have not bothered and just put up with with the light on the dashboard.

Ok so according to the owners manual the tpms is fused with the immobilizer and something it calls CONT which I think it's safe to say are vital systems. One could be forgiven for thinking Suzuki don't want the tpms turned off easily.

The TPMS is part of the CAN system.
Put simply, the CAN system is a system where all the cars control units communicate with each other. So if you remove something from that loop a fault code will appear in each other system.

Sticking a bit of tape/charity sticker over the tpms light does not disconnect the tpms but does remove the annoyance!

A while back a couple of us on here played with the Irongates TMPS simulators

Whilst the versions we had were a complete pain to get working with the Gen4 TPMS, they did work after a lot of messing about. This lets you run without TPMS sensors. I do note that they have upgraded the versions since we played with them.
