Front Bump stops removal

Lads how do you remove the front bump stops. I've to prep the threaded nuts and the chassis number with a galvanize stop paste tomorrow and the bump stops are the last things I've to remove.
 

Heavy Duty Transfer Box Brackets, 2-inch Black Raptor lift kit, caster adjusters, Rust removed and stich welded new sections. Galvanised Chassis. Body,Engine,transmission swap. Anti Rollbar Roll / Sway Bar / DAVES ARB disconnect kit.Osram Night Breaker Head light mod and white 501 led side lights.

It should be a nut and bolt job the rubber part has a large metal hex built in but how much will remain after years of winter roads is debatable.

Grab it and pull / twist it, sometimes with over-centre plumbers type pleirs...

It's all rubber and the top end is mounted into a hole and the oonly thing holding it there is the shape of the rubber at the top, like this -

 

:lol: couldn't find a photo of one!!!

That rubber "arrow" bit invariably rips off though... :(

I have just adjusted the text scale on my phone so I can actually see what I'm trying to read. Getting old sucks.

Lambert Dave thanks. Pulled them and yeah the plug end broke off. 
So off to the Galvansiers will take a few pics. Feel like today is the turning point and I'm on the road back /halfway etc.

Dave have you got any front bumper stops on offer or has anyone got some good second-hand ones floating their way over to me.....?
Worried the chassis is going to cost a fortune.
