G13BB Jimny JLX 1999 Fuel Pump was created by Owl
Have a mystery wire Im not sure of, The black wire attaches to the plastic housing unsure of its purpose. I removed the fuel pump from the plastic cannister and it look as though it was connected to the fuel pump (wire connector?). Ill attach photos. Its the black wire on the left seems to have no home. When putting new pump in, where do i connect it? It belongs I think on the main 2 wire connector to the pump theres a blue and black wire with connectors on each end. Not sure of this wire? Help appreciated. Owl

Is there any evidence of a terminal in the white plug because that looks to have been ripped out of something?

Had a look with spy glass it was a clean wire pull no visible signs, although HUNs photo looks like it goes through the black wire side in the plug

Hun, That wire I found out is there to stop the buildup of static electricity across the plastic cannister fuel pump assy, which can cause an explosion if the static E builds up. Ive just bought a piece of intank wire and will repair it. Its connected to the ground side of the pump circuit. wrote: photos.app.goo.gl/XgH32B9L8ZYMbEJw9
I hope it helps!
