Fog light switches was created by Lukeparky333
Hi all, I am new to the Jimmy world and have got it for a first car. I love it. I’m looking to put some fog lights in the front but the only bit I’m unsure about is the switches on the right side of the dash under the vent, where do I get switches from and how do I install them there. Thanks

Hi Parky & Welcome to the Club!
I suggest you start looking here preview.tinyurl.com/yyune6w6
Note, the 2nd hand switches do Not come with a connector block(s) so you will need a thin tip soldering iron for a start!

You can also look at e.g., AliExpress.

The only problem was that the color of the illumination was yellow and I had to change the bulb to a small red 12V LED.

And I would get a 5pin one so that there is an on-off light and a night illumination.

Thanks again, it helps to have a choice of places to look at, also you don’t know where I can get a connector block for the back of the switch?

In my 2015 the cabling for the fog lights was already there. So there was the plug already there and the cables to attach to the fog lights.

Maybe it is the same for your car.

I bought a loom made up by a FB group member . I now have driving light switch that illuminates and dims with the other switches.
Here in Australia thete are plenty of places to buy Toyota Short switches which are a perfect match in size.

My 2005 also had the loom ready so when your switches look like yours I am pretty sure you only need the lights and the switch. I bought original switch from suzuki and original brackets and aftermarket lamps and lights.
Its just to hook up the plugs.
Regret the lights and lamp, just been alot of maintenance.
