Discovered some major rot yesterday, usual spots like sills and boot floor but the worst of it being around the body mounts. Is it possible to buy new body mounts to weld in and if so where from? If not whats my best option? Also heavy corrosion on brake and vacuum lines so any links to replacement parts much appreciated.

Re body mounts: If they are really badly gone you could grab some of a different chassis otherwise they can be repaired (going off what others on this forum have done). I repaired some of mine and had a welder do the rest which I couldn't do.

Both sills, both rear arches, both back body mounts and back body structure cost me £600, for price reference.

How old is your Jimny? Just looking at getting one and trying to get an indicator of how long it’s likely to last.
Currently got a Defender 90.

2007 and low mileage, not sure what kind of life it previously had but outwardly was very clean when I bought it last year.
