Driving back from work jimny didn't feel like it had the same power, changing gear revs stayed over 3 grand then slowly reduced, when it was stationary in neutral rev at a gand then drops almost stalls then back up again?

Replied by Lambert on topic Well that didn't last long
Probably cam and or crank sensor. Easy enough to do bu try and get them from a reputable supplier as there are increasing numbers of fakes about.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

Ok so next suggestion would be coils and leads.

Sorry new coils and leads (NGK)not that long ago, made a real difference
On the way to work at lights idling it go 1000rpm then almost stalls, driving at 90kmh it would speed up with out moving accelerater pedal

The other alternative is that the catalytic converter is disintegrating/partially blocked?

As Lambert says try the catalytic converter.

Mine was very blocked and the garage ran Cat cleaner through it to pass it - did improve throttle response and generally calmed the car down a bit (not as jumpy on the rpms). Maybe a bit of redex in the fuel and give it a blast up the motorway?

Thanks, might be getting to the bottom of it found a mechanic who would put a code reader on jimny with out charging a fortune
Sounds like it's code 21 TPS voltage high/abnormal
Still got to track down New TPS to confirm
I'll let you know what happens
