Wheel questions was created by Bazh1
I'm going to order some steel wheels for my mud tires, do I need new wheel nuts, or do the alloy ones work, also a few people recommend the wheel balence powder / beads, do you have a link to a quality product. Thanks Barry

Devon 4x4 supply balance beads that seem to be well reviewed. Assuming that the new wheels have the same seat profile tapers and the studs don't top out the domes on the nuts. Yes. But for the cost of a second set of nuts I would have a specific set, it saves worry.

I have balance beads fitted in both sets of tyres i use
Work fine in BFG KM2's 225/75/16
But not so good in my extreme retreaded mud's 195/80/16
This could be down to the tyres, slight death wobble 40-45mph
No wobble with the bigger BFG's

For most Gen3 Jimnys, the steel and alloy wheel nuts are the same.

However for aftermarket wheels you will need nuts that match the chamfer on the wheels
