Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

Union Jack, I didn't include the after market t-case gears as they can get silly low especially if putting them on a Mk2 because it's 1:1 high range is so.... High
I have 4.1:1 in my LJ because it had the highest hi range as with Vitara 5.1:1 diffs my top speed on 33s is 50mph..... some of these gears are just insane
T-Case Ratios High & Low Percentage over Mk1 Percentage over Mk2
1998-2005 1.32:1 & 2.145:1
2005-2018 1.00:1 & 2.002:1
4.16:1 Gears 1.58:1 & 4.16:1 20% & 94% 58% & 108%
4.91:1 Gears 1.64:1 & 4.91:1 24% & 129% 64% & 145%
6.40:1 Gears 1.65:1 & 6.40:1 25% & 198% 65% & 220%
6.50:1 Gears 1.69:1 & 6.50:1 28% & 203% 69% & 225%
So to get a Mk1 Jimny back to stock gearing feel….
SJ/Samurai 413 t-case will be pretty perfect for 29s
SJ/Samurai 413 t-case & Mk2 Diffs will be pretty perfect for 30s
SJ410 t-case will be pretty perfect for 31s
4.16:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 31s because its a 410 high range
4.91:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 32s
6.40:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 33s
6.50:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 33s
To get a Mk2 Jimny back to stock gearing its gets pretty crazy
SJ/Samurai 413 will be pretty perfect gearing for 37s (poor axles)
SJ410 will be pretty perfect for 41s (poor engine)
4.16:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 41s
4.91:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 43s (throw away the arches)
6.40:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 43s
6.50:1 Gears will be pretty perfect for 44s (gonna need some serious spacers)

The bottom set of figures for a MK2 Jimny transfer box are no joke! (and you are right about strength/power for those tyre sizes!). I swapped the gearbox to the earlier R7me which sorted that problem out in the end. I did actually try fitting it:
When I started modifying my first Jimny I bought a rocklobster box (4.13) and managed to fit it with a custom small prop. It was very quick off the line with 29" tyres, but topped out at about 45-50 on the redline in 5th gear/2wd. This was because I had a 2007 R72 gearbox with a 1:1 top gear ratio. I ran a earlier stick transfer box for a bit and that wasnt bad. The 3.9 diffs brought it all back to factory as well as the earlier r7me gearbox and the rocklobster box, which accounted for the tyres.

It's strange that Jimny Bits doesn't do a mounting system for the Rocklobster as they do everything else for them.

Like you Kirkynut, I am a bit surprised that Jimnybits doesn't carry a mounting kit. Although I can no longer fully trust my memory, I am sure they used to carry the mounts around 2015 or 2016 when I was first looking at this option. Strange that they don't sell it when they have the other bits necessary. Maybe a new item for the BigJimny store?

I make such KITs already a few years. And honestly, I am pretty sure my KIT is much better than DG Tunning and others. Maybe it sounds not humble but... Many years ago I ordered two KITs from DG Tunning to install Samurai (SJ413) t-case into my Jimny. I installed with this KIT the t-case and had a very bad constant vibration. I thought the reason was in mounts provided with their KIT. They used very hard PU bushes from amo shocks. And I was wrong the reason of vibration was a bad t-case orientation. It just was positioned not straight with provided brackets.
So I tried to fix this problem to make new brackets which put t-case in a proper position. Also, I designed a new rear flange that connects directly to Jimny's rear driveshaft.
Sorry for the long post and self-advertising. I'm done
I have a video where I put Samurai t-case into Jimny with the KIT. There are ENG subs available.
